Dress Down a White Spring Dress

When you want to dress down a look during the springtime a denim jacket is the perfect choice.

A light wash denim jacket will immediately make a look casual cool. In this outfit, I paired my denim jacket from LOFT, that I’ve already shared with you here and here, with a white structured dress. This dress narrows at the waist, enhances the hips with pleats that billow the fabric, and tapers at the hem to create a curvy shape. A cropped denim jacket is perfect for keeping the slimming effect, which is the dresses’ design. Also, the fitted jacket keeps the look from being bulky.

I buttoned up the jacket for this outfit but unbuttoned would also look nice. The jacket and dress are pretty minimal so I added some pizazz with embellished heels and a large statement bracelet.

A high ponytail because I think I looked pretty cool with this look. =)
