A Dressy Thanksgiving Outfit
A Stylish Dress for Thanksgiving
Are you wondering on what to wear for Thanksgiving? I’ve shared with you a casual Thanksgiving outfit and a dressy casual outfit. Today we’re going to cover a dressy Thanksgiving outfit.
When the invite calls for dressy don’t hold back on what you wear! Of course it still needs to be appropriate but you need to look fabulous. My piece of choice is a dress!
A dress is the easiest solution, will be the best option for a dressy dress code and you’ll be comfortable eating Thanksgiving dinner instead of tight jeans.
Of course, a body con dress is not ok to wear for Thanksgiving. Instead opt for a more elegant choice. After all you are spending the day giving thanks and most likely you’ll be with your family. Also, a body con dress is not the best choice when sitting down and eating a big dinner.
I would suggest selecting a dress that is elegant, that’s not too short, is a deep hue and has some sort of embellishment.
In this outfit I went with a dress that was a rich navy blue, lace detailing, ends right above my knee and has a fun flared hem.
This dress is stylish yet appropriate for a Thanksgiving get together.
The add some glitz to the outfit I decided to wear silver accessories. The cool blue and silver make a perfect combination.
Silver and blue heels, silver clutch and jewelry. I wanted to keep the entire look cohesive so I added an embellished headband. The thing that is perfect about this headband it that it’s band is black so you don’t see it against my dark hair. The style of the headband also match the style of the earrings so those two main items look perfect together.
This is my final look in the series. I’m going put together a roundup so make sure to look for that this week.
Stay Stylish,
-V
