A Maxi Beach Cover Up

You either LOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEE the beach or you “love” the beach. There is a middle ground between these two but it really depends on what you do once you get to the beach.

Are you the beach bum that can lie in the sand for hours enjoying the rays of sunshine as you get the summertime bronzy glow? Are you the active gal, always ready for a game of beach volleyball, throwing the football or even surfing? Or are you neither? Like, the type that doesn’t like to get tanned because it happens so quickly (like moi), neither active nor bum but you do enjoy the beach enough to visit it once in a while.

I’m the latter. I like it. Peter and I make trips to the beach every summer because it’s beautiful, we enjoy taking photos there, and I enjoy positive things that come along with it like the cool beach town, the great seafood, and the time to unwind.

Where are you in the beach loving spectrum?

Like I mentioned, I tan very quickly. It’s both a curse and a blessing. The people that have it don’t want it and the ones that have it, hate it – it’s silly but true.

Give me 10 minutes in the sun and I’ll get tan lines. This is the reason I wear a maxi beach coverup and a large sunhat, or sometimes a maxi dress depending on how hot it is. Yes, I’m that girl that hides from the sun and sits in the only place where there is shade.
